About Our Program
I Am King Mentoring is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization founded by Murray D. Duffey Sr. on June 15, 2016. It began as an idea to impact change in the lives of his godson and two nephews as they came down to visit for the summer. Before Murray knew it, it had evolved into an assignment to reach young men first in his community and later throughout the world. On June 18, 2016 Murray managed to gather eight kids into his very own garage where he began his first empowerment session. The kids immediately began to take to Murray as he demonstrated the relevance of proper male development in today’s society. After only two weeks there were 15 boys in all. Murray has always had a heart for the youth, serving as a youth adviser for over seven years in ministry, working as a live in house parent in the Decatur, GA group home system for over a year, and hosting a plethora of youth summits, conferences and events. Now he’s taking it a step further as he embarks upon the journey of saving today’s youth one mind at a time.

What We Offer
IAK is here to help develop, mentor, encourage, inspire and motivate young men to maximize their potential to the fullest extent as they take life head on. It is a launching pad for boys between the ages of 5-19 years old. Our program is designed to prepare boys to become stable men in society who grasp the concept of their roles in both family and community. Our goal is to teach self-awareness through literature, motivational speaking and mental exercises, therefore enhancing each child’s ability to properly evolve into himself.
